Ego Boosts
Today when I got home from work, Gizmo's pen actually wasn't a complete mess. There might be hope for the little gremlin yet.
Tonight on our walk, he was really on his best behavior. I had two people comment on how well-behaved he was (One of them being the fellow who, the other night, asked if Gizmo was gonna bite him. Go figure.)

I'm glad to hear your neighbors have been more accepting of him lately.
ReplyDeleteHere's and idea, have a block party for your neighborhood. Serve food and drinks and talk about your animals, show them to people, talk about the species and what it's like to own one.
We recently did something like this where I live, it was a hit. People were really fascinated with the animals and left with a good impression of them and their care.
I realize this could be a good idea or a bad idea depending on how your animals act around strangers and what kind of attitudes people in your neighborhood already have but this is something exotic owners might want to consider doing.
